Garment presser — Keokuk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Keokuk County, Iowa. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
