Sample machinist — Franklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Franklin County, Idaho. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Full-time, day shift. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
