Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Newaygo County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection You will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
