Vacancy available: we are hiring a corporate security officer in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. You will work at a bank branch. Ideal candidate: • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Alert, disciplined and punctual You will patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
