Cement mason wanted in Polk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cement mason in Polk County, Nebraska. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
