Lift mechanic — Peterborough

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Peterborough, England. The job is in a residential tower block. You will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring £1,950 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
