Lifting rigger • Norman County, Minnesota

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Norman County, Minnesota. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
