Now hiring: we are hiring a short order cook in Oswego County, New York. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. The role involves: • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
