Join our team: foundry operative (Missouri)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry operative in Marion County, Missouri. You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
