Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Shira, Bauchi State. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces The role involves: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
