Vacancy available: reinforcement fitter (Kano State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Tofa, Kano State. The job is at a high-rise construction project. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
