Sand plant operator wanted in Pike County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Pike County, Missouri. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
