Production welder — Oyo East

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Oyo East, Oyo State. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts. ₦240,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
