You should have: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines On the job you will handle: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
