Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in City of Poquoson, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
