Garment presser — Mercer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Mercer County, West Virginia. You will be based in a garment export house. The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Full-time, day shift.
