Urgent requirement: fabricator-welder (Alaska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
