Vacancy available: we are hiring a site dozer operator in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. The job is at a land-clearing site. On the job you will handle: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Rotating shifts.
