Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Montgomery County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
