Urgent requirement: catering cook (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a catering cook in Newton County, Texas. Day to day you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; prepare the mise en place before each service; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
