Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Emery County, Utah. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time, day shift.
