Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Johnston County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines.
