TIG welder wanted in Appanoose County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Appanoose County, Iowa. You will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 6+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
