Ladle pourer — Fannin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Fannin County, Texas. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Your main tasks: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
