Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car painter in Adams County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Good eye for colour matching and blending The role involves: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss 1+ years on the tools preferred.
