Elevator repair technician — Phillips County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Phillips County, Montana. The role involves: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience.
