Join our team: we are hiring a steam press operator in Lafayette County, Arkansas. You will work at a garment factory. Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
