Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Jasper County, Illinois. The job is on the press shop floor. Your main tasks: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 3+ years on the tools preferred.
