Now hiring: we are hiring a cook in Wichita County, Kansas. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Requirements: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Day to day you will plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
