Earthmoving plant operator • Marion County, Alabama

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Marion County, Alabama. You will be based at a stone quarry. You will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
