Hydraulic crane operator • Crawford County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Crawford County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Six days a week, one day off.
