Sewing machine operator • Kiyawa, Jigawa State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Kiyawa, Jigawa State. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer ₦85,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
