Great opportunity: fitter on the line (Maine)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Penobscot County, Maine. You will work on a production line. Day to day you will tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench; pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line; fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier. What we are looking for: • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts • Comfortable meeting hourly production targets At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
