Excavator operator wanted in Wakulla County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Wakulla County, Florida. You will work at a plant hire yard. The role involves: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations Requirements: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
