Vacancy available: gas meter installer (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Driving licence for travel between sites Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
