We are recruiting: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Hardin County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
