Overlocker operator • Pittsylvania County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
