Safety marshal • Union County, New Jersey

Join our team: we are hiring a safety marshal in Union County, New Jersey. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. You will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
