We are recruiting: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a food processing plant. You will trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
