Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Dorset, England. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
