Kitchen steward wanted in Chippewa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. The job is in a catering unit. Your main tasks: • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature What we are looking for: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
