We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in McDuffie County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
