Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator Day to day you will lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
