Toolroom milling operator • Dakota County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Dakota County, Nebraska. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Day to day you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
