Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in North Yorkshire, England. You will work on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Your main tasks: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around £110 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
