We are recruiting: incoming goods inspector (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Meriwether County, Georgia. Day to day you will compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
