Turning centre operator wanted in Burnet County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Burnet County, Texas. You will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; write and edit G-code programs at the control. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
