Now hiring: floor screeder (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a floor screeder in Walker County, Alabama. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. You will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 3+ years on the tools preferred.
