We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Scott County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing.
