Gas commissioning technician wanted in Snohomish County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Snohomish County, Washington. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Day-to-day duties: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
